THE SESSIONS

  • A mini session is a focused, 45-minute photography experience designed to capture the most important moments without the half-day commitment of a traditional shoot. Rather than spending hours trying to get the perfect shot, we zero in on what matters- genuine connection, real smiles, and the little moments that make your family or relationship uniquely yours.

    It's the sweet spot between a quick phone snap and a full-day shoot. What you’ll receive is professional results without the overwhelm.

  • Most sessions are 45 minutes. This applies to the Signature Mini, Masterpiece Mini, and Full-House Mini. The only exception is the Elopement Mini, which runs for 60 minutes to allow for a more intimate, unhurried experience on your special day.

  • It depends on the package:

    • Signature Mini & Masterpiece Mini: Up to 5 participants

    • Full-House Mini: Up to 12 participants — perfect for extended family shoots with grandparents, siblings, and cousins

    • Elopement Mini: The couple plus up to 2 witnesses

    If your group falls outside these numbers, just reach out and we can chat about the best option for you.

  • Sessions take place at hand-picked Sydney locations selected to suit your style and the light on the day. I'm based in Marrickville, so I know the inner west and surrounds well, but I love exploring all the beautiful pockets Sydney has to offer.

    Travel is included within 25km of Marrickville. A flat travel fee of $85 applies for locations 25–50km away. For anything beyond 50km (Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong), I provide custom quotes on request.

PACKAGES AND PRICING

  • Both sessions are 45 minutes and take place at the same beautiful Sydney locations — the difference is in the deliverables and turnaround:

    • Signature Mini ($275): 20 professionally edited images, delivered within 14 days. Perfect if you want beautiful photos without the extras.

    • Masterpiece Mini ($375): 40 professionally edited images, a priority sneak peek within 48 hours, a BTS social reel, and your full gallery delivered within 7 days. Ideal if you want it all — more images, faster delivery, and a behind-the-scenes keepsake.

    Not sure which is right for you? The Masterpiece is popular with clients who can't wait to see their photos — and who want to post that sneak peek on their own socials straight away.

  • Yes! All packages include the option to purchase a full gallery upgrade or individual images beyond your included number. Details will be available when your gallery is delivered, so you can browse everything first before deciding.

  • Yes! Gift cards are available and make a beautiful gift for birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas, or any occasion worth celebrating. The recipient can use their gift card to book any session at any future date that suits them.

  • The Elopement Mini is designed for any couple who wants an intimate, unhurried session without the traditional wedding production. Whether it's a quiet vow exchange, a post-registry celebration stroll, or simply a romantic couple's shoot, this package is built for you.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

  • Booking is simple. Head to the appointments page, choose your preferred package, pick a date and time that suits you, and confirm your booking. You'll receive an email from me with everything you need to prepare for your session.

  • Life happens, I completely understand. We do require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule a session. If you need to move your date, you can do so via your appointment confirmation email, or by emailing, calling, or texting me directly.

    Please note that each booking is permitted one reschedule only (outside of weather-related rescheduling). If you need to move your session a second time, a new booking fee will be required.

    If you reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice or don't show up on the day, the session is considered cancelled and the full session fee will be forfeited.

  • Sydney weather can be unpredictable. If heavy rain or dangerous winds are forecast, I'll make the call to reschedule either 2 hours before your session, or the night before for sunrise sessions. Weather rescheduling is made at my discretion and does not count towards your one reschedule limit, so you'll never be penalised for something outside your control.

    A little overcast can actually produce beautiful, soft light — so I'll always try to make it work before calling it off.

PHOTOS AND DELIVERY

  • Every image in your gallery is hand-selected and edited by me personally. No AI, no automatic culling. I take the time to choose the shots that best capture the feeling of your session and edit each one to meet the signature Mini and Muse aesthetic: warm, timeless, and true to the moment.

    Because my editing style is a core part of what you're booking, final galleries are delivered as-is and won't be re-edited after delivery. Raw, unedited files are not included or available for purchase.

  • Your photos will be delivered via an online gallery link sent to your email. From there you can view and download your high-resolution images. You'll also have the option to purchase additional images or a full gallery upgrade directly from the gallery.

  • The Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Reel is a 20–30 second short video captured during your session — think candid moments, laughs, movement, and in-between magic that still photos can't quite capture. It's edited and ready to share straight to your Instagram or social media. A little keepsake of the day itself, not just the final images.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION

  • Coordinated doesn't mean matching — the best results come from outfits that complement each other rather than being identical. A few tips:

    • Stick to a cohesive colour palette (neutrals, earthy tones, or soft pastels work beautifully)

    • Avoid large logos or very busy patterns, they can distract from faces

    • Dress for the season and location, comfort and layers shows in photos

    • Wear something you genuinely feel good in because confidence translates

  • Completely okay and honestly, more common than you'd think. My sessions are designed to feel natural, not performative. I'll guide you through every moment with prompts and movement so you never have to just "stand and smile." The best shots almost always happen in the in-between moments. The laugh, the look, the squeeze of a hand.

  • Kids being kids is part of the magic. I've photographed plenty of toddler meltdowns and shy little ones, and some of the best images come from those unscripted moments. I work at your child's pace and know how to gently draw out genuine reactions without pressure.

    A few things that help: arrive a little early so they can settle into the environment, bring a small (non messy) snack or favourite toy for younger children.
