Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing MINI AND MUSE STUDIO (ABN 88441501493). These Terms and Conditions govern all photography services provided by us in Sydney and surrounding areas. By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking, Payments & Punctuality

Confirmation: No date is held or confirmed without a cleared payment.

The Golden Hour: To ensure the soft, dreamy light seen in our portfolio, sessions are strictly held during ‘Golden Hours’: 6:30am – 7:30am or 7:30pm – 8:30pm. While we are open to discussing other timings for specific needs, these are our signature windows.

Punctuality: Because we are chasing the sun, sessions cannot be extended if you arrive late. Late arrival will result in reduced shooting time and will impact the overall quality and volume of content. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to get settled.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Notice Period: We require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule a session.

No-Shows & Short Notice: If a client fails to show up to a session (No-Show) or does not provide the required 48 hours' notice to reschedule, the session is considered cancelled and the full session fee will be forfeited.

One-Reschedule Limit: To protect our studio calendar, clients are permitted only one (1) reschedule per booking (outside of rescheduling due to unsafe weather conditions). Should you need to move your session a second time, a new booking fee will be required.

Weather: If the Sydney weather doesn't play ball (heavy rain or dangerous winds), MINI AND MUSE STUDIO will make the call to reschedule 2 hours prior to the session. Reschedules due to weather are made at the Photographer's discretion and do not count towards your one-reschedule limit.

4. Travel & Location

Inclusions: Sessions include travel within Sydney Metro.

Bespoke Travel: If you have a location in mind further afield, please enquire about a custom travel fee.

5. Creative Control & The "Mini" Co-operation

Artistic Style: You acknowledge that you have hired us for our specific editing style and creative vision.

Subject Co-operation: While I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get the kids smiling, there are times when we have uncooperative subjects. Unfortunately, I don’t provide THAT kind of magic and some things are just out of our control. We will go with the flow and capture the magic as it happens!

What to Wear: Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive our Style Guide. This is designed to help you coordinate your outfits for the best photographic result without looking "too matching."

6. Image Delivery & Archiving

Culling & Editing: MINI AND MUSE STUDIO reserves the right to select the best images for your gallery. RAW or unedited files are not available for purchase or viewing.

Archiving: We do not store your photographs indefinitely after your gallery is delivered. Post-delivery, files may be permanently deleted. It is the Client's responsibility to download and backup their images immediately upon receipt.

7. Social Media & Copyright

Model Release: By default, we showcase our work on our website and social media (Instagram/TikTok/ Website) to inspire others and promote our business.

Opt-Out: If you prefer your family’s images to remain private, please notify us in writing via email prior to your session.

Ownership: MINI AND MUSE STUDIO retains full copyright of all images under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). You are granted a license for personal use (printing and social sharing).

8. Limitation of Liability & Release

Public Domains: MINI AND MUSE STUDIO is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that occurs in a public domain (including parks, beaches, and streets) during the session.

Safety: While the Photographer will take all reasonable care, the Client remains responsible for their own safety and the safety of any minors in their care at all times.

Indemnity: The Client agrees to release and indemnify MINI AND MUSE STUDIO against all liability for personal injury or property damage.

Technical Failure: In the unlikely event of technical failure or file loss, liability is limited to a refund of the session fee or a re-shoot.
